Puppy Training
Start your puppy on the right track with our comprehensive Puppy Training program. We cover basic commands, socialization, and housebreaking to help your puppy grow into a well-mannered adult dog.
A free evaluation comes first, so the plan fits your dog.
The habits a puppy forms in their first months tend to stick, which is why we recommend starting as early as possible. Around eight weeks old is ideal, though there is no age at which it becomes too late.
We cover the practical things first, because they are what make living with a puppy hard: housebreaking, crate comfort, mouthing and biting, and settling alone without panic. Alongside that we introduce the basics of sit, down, recall and walking on a leash.
Socialization runs through the whole program. A puppy needs calm, positive exposure to new people, surfaces, sounds and dogs while they are still open to it. Done well, this is what prevents fear and reactivity later.
Everything is taught with positive reinforcement. Puppies learn fastest when training feels like a game they keep winning, and that early association shapes how they respond to training for the rest of their life.
