Once the foundation is solid, the interesting work starts. Advanced training is mostly about making known behaviors hold up under conditions that used to break them.
We build the three things that separate a trained dog from a reliable one: duration, so a stay lasts as long as you need it; distance, so your dog responds from across the yard rather than only at your side; and distraction, so a recall works with a rabbit in view.
Depending on your goals this can extend into off-leash reliability in appropriate settings, place and threshold manners with guests arriving, and calm public behavior on patios and in shops that welcome dogs.
This program assumes your dog already has dependable basics. If they do not, the evaluation will say so and we will start where the dog actually is.
