Leash Training
Turn walks into something you both look forward to. We fix pulling, lunging and stopping dead, so the leash becomes a line of communication rather than a tug of war.
A free evaluation comes first, so the plan fits your dog.
Most people who call about leash work describe the same thing: the walk has become a chore. The dog pulls, the handler braces, and both end up frustrated. Sometimes the dog refuses to move at all.
Pulling is not stubbornness. A loose leash is a skill, and most dogs have simply never been taught it, having instead learned that pulling is what makes forward progress happen.
We teach position and pace first in a quiet space, then add the real-world difficulty that matters to you: other dogs, squirrels, cyclists, the front door. Most dogs get there on a flat collar with clear, fair leash communication. A prong collar or e-collar is a last resort for dogs that pull hard or lunge at distractions, and it is never put on your dog until we have talked it through and you have agreed - then it is fitted and introduced at the lowest effective level, and the plan is built so your dog can lean off it over time.
The aim is a walk you would actually choose to take, with a dog who can pass a distraction without the leash going tight.
